The introduction of shopping malls to every corner and part of the country particularly in towns has prompted many to enjoy their time with their friends, shop and even eat there. Looking for the essential needs of people is a common pattern. This shift is likely to continue to grow in the coming years. I believe this trend has an adverse impact on the younger generation as well as regular consumers.
Modern shopping centers are a significant part of the market by offering a range of items within one location, from the smallest and largest to the most sophisticated equipment and gadgets such as costumes and decorations, all kinds of fruits, vegetables and beauty products such as kitchen appliances, other things. Furthermore, these shopping complexes have movie cinemas, coffee shops children’s food stores, and the corner court, which draws many more people to spend their time. They have a negative effect on people, particularly youngsters’ minds. Students often skip classes to hang out with friends at an outlet mall, drink Aerated drinks, consume junk food, and avoid outdoor activities.
Additionally, the urge of people to purchase things they don’t require creates a financial imbalance and can lead to debt. When parents are required to bring their children to the playground or the museum and then turn the place into a shopping center and providing them with food. This can lead to a tragic situation regarding our future generation’s health and education.
In the end, I think that the squandering of lots of time in shopping malls is likely to become an unsustainable issue later. I believe that shopping centers should be used as a place to purchase essential items rather than a place to enjoy leisure or an area for recreation.
